The Institute emphasizes on all round development of students by encouraging learning beyond Class rooms. The Institute regularly celebrates functions like:

1] NECTAR- Annual Cultural, Sports & Literary Fest

Nectar was celebrated on March 23 & 24, 2013.  On this occasion, a large number of students  from all the Institutes of the Group participated  in different activities.   Shri Sharad Yadav Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Convener, NDA and President JD (U) was the Chief Guest on its Inaugural function on March 23, 2013.  Shri K.C. Tyagi Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and General Secretary, JD (U) was the Guest of Honour.   Both the Chief Guest  and the Guest of Honour  exhorted  the students to pursue their studies with sincerity and commitments and to be worthy of national service.  They also praised the services rendered by the Group  in imparting ISO level education in the field of engineering, technology, management, science and pharmacy.  On 24th March, 2013, on its Valedictory Function, Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Kak, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, MTU was the Chief Guest.  He also blessed the students by his precious words of wisdom and distributed academic and other prizes to the students.  On 24th March, 2013 itself, Neeraj Shridhar Nite (Bombay Vikings) was held, which was enjoyed by the students very much.  On this occasion a large of congregation  of invited guests and their families also enjoyed the cultural  night.  

Cultural activities 2013 include Solo Dance Competition, Group Dance Competition, Song Competition, Fashion Show Competition, Rangoli Competition, Mehendi Competition and Skit Competition.

Sports activities 2013 include Chess (boys and girls), Carom (boys and girls), High Jump (boys and girls), Long Jump (boys and girls), Discuss Throw (boys and girls), Shot Put (boys and girls), Javelin Throw (boys and girls),  100 Meter Race (boys and girls), 200 Meter Race (boys and girls), 400 Meter Race (boys and girls), Relay Race (boys and girls), Tug of War  (boys and girls), Volley Ball (boys and girls), Basket Ball (boys and girls), Athlete of the year – HRGI,  and Table Tennis (boys and girls) etc.

Literary activities include Essay  Competition,  Debate Competition,  Extempore and Poetry Recitation.

2] AMBROSIA-Fresher’s Party

HRGI Ambrosia Celebration is an Annual Function of the HRGI Group.  Ambrosia means ‘Amrit’ or ‘Food of Gods’.  As its name symbolises, it is being celebrated every year by the IInd year students to welcome the freshers.

Ambrosia This year  Ambrosia was celebrated on 8th September, 2012.  This is celebrated with zeal and vigour  with a view  to spreading a feeling of friendship and cooperation among students and also to ward off the menace of ragging and indiscipline.  It has been observed on the campus that by organizing “Ambrosia” every year, fruitful results are achieved.  During Ambrosia Celebration 2012-13 a number of activities were performed by the Ist year students like participating in Mr. & Ms. Fresher contest and their performance is judged by senior faculty members.  Chairman, Er. Anil Agrawal, HRGI presided over  the function along with his wife. 
Mr. Shagun, student of HRIHM and Ms. Deepanshu Tripathi & group in Solo Dance showed extraordinary talent on this occasion.  Ms. Tanu, student of HRIHM, gave her special dance performance.  Mr. Raj Kumar, student of HRIHM, sang a Bhojpuri song on this occasion, which was very much appreciated by the students.


H.R. Group of institutions organized a two day technical festival  Techvaganza  v 4.0 .

The primary objective of this Mega fest was to provide an arena for the students to showcase their talents with creativity and for their talents to get transformed into fun and pleasure.

It helped the students let their caliber go sky-high. More than 500 students from  leading  institutes along with 2500 HRGIans witnessed  the success of the Techvaganza v 4.0. Cash prizes in defferent’s event and D.J. night wear the main attraction of the participants.

India Sales Pvt. Ltd inaugurated the fest. The programme was followed  by a prize distribution ceremony .Shri Gaurav Agarwal, Regional software group executive IBM India was the chief guest of the closing ceremony of the day 2 celebration of Techvaganza v 4.0 .

They gave away a number of cash prizes, awards, medals and certificates to the winners of different technical games and events.

Cash prizes worth more than Rs 75,000 wear also given away to the winners of the different activities. More over sponsors like Estab. Edu.

 Services, Eln Electronics Ltd, DotNet, WebTech Lab  , and many more came forward to encourage the students and gave away several prizes to the winners.
